Hello my name is Cheryl and I joined the team at Interchange LMR on 21st May 2018.
I spent many years nursing in various places around Australia and overseas before returning to Bendigo in 1986 with my two daughters Anna and Gina. I completed further University studies in Nursing, Business and Governance I have worked in various positions in the area including Woomelang Bush Nursing Centre, Bendigo Health, Dingee Bush Nursing Centre and St John of God Hospital. I settled into St John of God Hospital for over 12 years and after being in charge of the Coronary Angiography Unit moved onto Medical Quality and Risk Management. Over the last few years I have also served on several Boards of Governance.
I am passionate about Quality and Risk Management and believe that all organisations should ensure robust systems are in place in order to provide quality and safety for all customers and staff. My girls are now independent adults, and I have three beautiful little Granddaughters. Working part-time now gives me a little more time to pursue my other passions which are divided between painting, singing, learning Spanish, volunteer work and swimming laps of the pool.
I am keen to take on the challenge of this new position and very excited about the opportunity to work with the team here at Interchange LMR.
