Graham’s Cricket Improves Out of Sight

Graham stands up

Graham’s cricket improves out of sight. If you remember the last time Graham was pictured playing cricket ith the Axe Creek All Abilities Cricket Team, he was in his wheel chair and hitting the ball off a batting tee.Tonight Graham, with the assistance of Community Facilitator Jodie, was out of his chair and facing the bowlers on his now steady feet. Graham scored 19 runs tonight with the bat but that wasn’t the highlight. On arrival at Bendigo Majorleague tonight, Graham made a bold statement to his support worker Jodie.“I am going to take a double hat-trick tonight” said Graham.Ok… nice to be aiming high on your first night out of the chair. But with the last four deliveries of the match, I kid you not, Graham took a wicket with each ball. One of them was a spectacular juggled return catch.DOUBLE HAT-TRICK!!Way to go Graham. What a night.Keep aiming high mate.

If you remember the last time Graham was pictured playing cricket with the Axe Creek All Abilities Cricket Team, he was in his wheel chair and hitting the ball off a batting tee.  On Thursday, Graham, with the assistance of Community Facilitator Jodie, was out of his chair and facing the bowlers on his now steady feet.

Graham scored 19 runs on the night with the bat but that wasn’t the highlight….

On arrival at Bendigo Major league, Graham made a bold statement to his support worker Jodie, “I am going to take a double hat-trick tonight”.

Ok… nice to be aiming high on your first night out of the chair.

But with the last four deliveries of the match, I kid you not, Graham took a wicket with each ball!  One of them was a spectacular juggled return catch.

DOUBLE HAT-TRICK!!  Way to go Graham. What a night!  Keep aiming high mate.
