Interchange Trades Kris Kringle for Community Giving

This Christmas, the team at Interchange Loddon-Mallee Region have ditched Kris Kringle in favour of community giving.

This is the third year that we have supported the “Make a Child Smile this Christmas” project organised by the Rotary Club of Bendigo.

Staff are invited to use their Kris Kringle dollars to either purchase a gift for a child or make a donation to Interchange that will be used to purchase a gift for one of our participants who may not receive a present on Christmas Day.

We all spend money on impulse purchases over Christmas.  This project, like many others organised throughout our community, provides a way we can make a genuine difference to a local family over Christmas, when times are often a bit tough.

If you would like to donate to our Christmas Giving tree, you may drop in an unwrapped gift or make a donation to our offices at 127 Mitchell Street, Bendigo or 2/302 Deakin Ave, Mildura. Donations over $2 are tax deductible and a receipt can be provided upon request.

Gifts or donations can be accepted up until 2pm Monday 16th December.  Following this date, gifts will be distributed to families in need through Bendigo Uniting Care Outreach Services and to Interchange participants.
