Learning from Home

During these times of restrictions we must adapt.

Rodney would normally attend his weekly training at Southern Grampians Adult Education with his fellow classmates out in the community.  With the current social distancing restrictions in place, SGAE has brought the classroom to the homes of their students.

Each week now, Rodney is contacted by his Educator from SGAE by phone and they conduct a remote learning workshop.  To assist Rodney with his home-based learning, Interchange Community Facilitator, Les, attends these sessions to ensure the workshop runs as smoothly as possible and Rodney can comprehend the instructions over the phone.

These are challenging times we live in, but with extra support and modifications to the support we provide, we can still work towards achieving the goals of our participants.
