NDIS Advocacy

The advocacy role ensures people with a disability, their families and carers are fully prepared and supported for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The Advocate will be available one day a week until the end of May 2020 by appointment only.

The primary objectives of the role include:

  • Explaining to current and potential participants of Interchange LMR, families and carers the key aspects of the NDIS and its potential impact on their lives;
  • Assisting participants with preparing for Plan Reviews and for a Review of a Reviewable Decision.
