Social, Recreational and Community Support

In response to advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO), and Federal and State Governments requirements, we have implemented our COVID-19 Response Plan.

Interchange LMR is currently facilitating one-on-one and limited group social, recreational or community programs.

To learn which programs are currently available in your area, please contact our office on 03 5441 1599.

Thank you for your understanding.

At Interchange LMR, we understand the vital importance of being connected and engaged in social, recreational and community activities.

As part of the support we offer, participants have the opportunity to actively take part in events and activities with one-to-one support or as part of a group. These supports can be used to access both modified and mainstream sports and activities.

The possibilities for social, recreational and community support are endless and are driven by participant’s interest and goals. These sessions provide opportunities to assist in the development of other life skills such as travel training, meal preparation, cooking and money handling.

Examples of activities or events may include:

  • Social group or club (scouts, men’s shed, community group)
  • Community events
  • Swimming pool
  • Gym or exercise classes
  • Festivals
  • Socialising with friends or family
